Remember me?
Hello! Did you miss me? :)

I am sorry I have been gone so long. I did indeed take a break. I haven't even read anyone's blog in like over a week! I have been going through withdraw. I'm hoping to get back into the "regular" schedule starting next week. So, please, just bare with me!

I hope you have not forgotten me.

Let's see...updates....

Dad's cancer is responding so well to the radiation!!! The tumor beneath his chin is almost completely gone! He's having problems eating still because his mouth and throat are so sensitive. I feel so sorry for him. He's still losing weight and is down to 139 pounds but had increased drinking health shakes so we're hoping that helps him from losing anymore weight. I am praising God for this going so well and I am very, very thankful for all of you that have been praying. It has made a HUGE difference.

You have no idea how much ya'll mean to me!!! I have missed ya'll so much and can't wait to get back into the swing of things and catch up with everyone's blog. Thanks to everyone as well for sending emails asking how I am and what I am doing. Rest assured, I am still here and kicking. Just had to take some time away for awhile.

Well, I'm off to go do more work and eat some cheese. Hopefully this post will hold you guys over until next week.

Love to all,

Sorry I have been neglecting you all. I'm pre-occupied lately and can't seem to think of anything to "blog" about. So, I think I may be taking a short break from blogging.

Don't worry, I read you all everday and I will try to comment so you all don't forget about me. :)

Random Thoughts
So, just random thoughts today. (If anyone cares.)

  • I bought this candle warmer thing for my desk. I like the space around me to smell good. I found wickless candles on EBay that are reasonably priced. It's called Cider Mill and it ROCKS!
  • I couldn't post yesterday because Blogger was seriously being stupid for me. I couldn't even leave comments to tell people I was there, at their website. *sigh*
  • Does anyone even read my blog anymore?
  • I found a oral/head/neck cancer ribbon. I am thinking about ordering it for myself and my family. I just wish they had magentic ribbons so I could put one on my car.
  • It's almost lunchtime here in Ohio!! *stomach growls*
  • My grandmother (dad's mom) left me the most hateful, mean message last night, I was very upset. I played the message for my dad and he called her. It did not go over well. My dad is very upset about it and now I feel bad for telling him. Like he doesn't have anything else to worry about?
  • For some reason, last night's occurence made me very thankful for my mom's side of the family as well as my mother herself.
  • I think I take my mom for granted sometimes.
  • Have I ever told anyone that I hate HOME DEPOT?!?!?!?!?! (Yes, I am talking to them now. Did you guess that?)
  • I saw the Davinci Code over the weekend. I found it to be a very good movie and yes, I reminded myself a lot that it is just ficition. My brain just wants to shut down when religion plays into movies. IT IS JUST FICITION!!!
  • David wants me to go to the Reds game with him tonight. I keep blowing him off.
  • Has anyone made it this far on the list?

Okay, no more random thoughts. I do have a request though. My friend Kristy is still struggling with some things in her personal life. She has asked that myself and all "my blogging" friends pray for her and her family. If you could please do this, she and I would greatly appreciate it.

Another meme!
A fellow blogger of mine - Jenn G - has asked me to participate in a meme of hers that she will be highlighting on a weekly basis on her website. So, being the faithful friend I am, I will play along! (Anything for a chance at the spot light really!)

Q: What inspired you to start blogging?
I really wanted to basically just start an online journal. When I looked up "online journal" under Google, this site ( came up. I decided to give it a try.

Q: What's the meaning behind your blog name?
This is kind of funny actually...I work for a company that deals heavily with Home Depot (see here for details.) I was on the phone with a lovely HD while I was thinking of a name for my new world. THEY HUNG UP ON ME! TWICE! While I was holding for them. So, I named the blog "Please don't hang up".

Q: What are some of the major themes of your blog?
I would have to say real life. That's mostly what I write about. Things that happen within my life.

Q: Do you have any "Real Life People" reading your blog?
Yes. My friend Kristy reads me sometimes.

Q: What is one of the biggest lessons you've learned from blogging?
I'm not sure how to answer this. I have learned that you can depend on people, even though you only "see" them on the computer. They listen to you, laugh with you, pray for and with you...It's really cool.

Q: What else would you like your readers to know about you, that they may not already?
I have no idea. Maybe that I really like comments and I wish more people would read my blog?
